2022 Update:

New Fundraising Initiative

The Chinese have a saying “May you live in interesting times”, and though it can mean many things, it is clear that we, as a nation, indeed the world, have been living in interesting times for the past 24 months or so. With that in mind, I hope this outreach finds you and your loved ones, healthy and safe.

Though most of the world shut down in 2020 and 2021, for Christos Ministries, it was a very eventful and busy time. One in which we continued to meet the needs of the under-served through our focus on education and educationally themed outreach in Jamaica.

In 2020, we:

  • Contributed to a feeding program for needy students in Jamaica

  • Provided tuition assistance to students in 2 colleges

  • Provided backpacks and school supplies to two basic schools

  • Provided salary assistance for teachers

  • Started building our 6th basic school

In 2021, we:

  • Completed the construction of our 6th basic school in Glendevon

  • Built and installed toilets for Clarkstown school

  • Delivered 50 computers to various schools including Montego Bay High School

  • Built a catchment tank to collect rainwater for the school in Seaford Town

  • Funded the purchase of plastic partitions for Barbara Lee Hing school

And the need continues.

We have begun fundraising efforts so that we can continue the work that is our passion and mission. For those of you who have donated to us in the past, we are eternally grateful and ask for your continued support.

For those who are new supporters, welcome to the Christos family.

Through your generous donations, we will continue to help those who are less able to help themselves, while providing access to a gift that cannot be taken away; the gift of education.

Our goal is to raise $200,000 this calendar year.

Know that no donation is too small and that 98.9% of all donations go directly to the activities in support of our mission.

We have made it easy for you to donate via the support page on our website.

As a reminder, Christos Ministries is a 501 (c ) (3) registered non-profit, so your donations are tax-deductible.

Thank you in advance for your support!
